Winter Break

Have you thought about what you are gonna do in winter break? There’s Christmas, New Year, and for me, there’s also a coming-of-age celebration. It’s a holiday to have a celebration for people turned or will turn 20 years old in that year. Why is it 20 years old? Because in Japan, when you turn 20 years old, you are considered to be an adult and you are allowed to drink and smoke and of course you are expected to behave like an adult. Since I’m turning 20 this month, I get to go to the celebration. Usually girls dress up in fabulous kimonos and guys wear suits or hakamas which is formal kind of kimonos for the guys. I'll put the picture of me and my friends in kimono after this celebration so that you understand what I am talking about. What's YOUR plans??? Going back to your hometown? Some trip? Snowboarding?

I'll go back to my hometown from December 22nd to January 6th☆ I really looking forward to seeing my friends or dog! I'll go to the shrine on New Year's day with my friends and after that, I'll go to the sea to see the first sunrise of the new year♪ My hometown will be surrounded by the snow. Yeah! I love it!! Because I'll eat a lot of foods in my hometown, you may not be able to find out who I am after the vacation...(w I'll take many pictures in my hometown and see them to you. Have a nice vacation, everyone☆
